"One useless man is called a disgrace; that two are called a law firm; and that three or more become a Congress."

This is a new creature and character design that popped in my head, so I tried working on it. This design is heavily influenced by the Mystics or "urRu" from "The Dark Crystal", but I would hope I was able to keep the design different enough to not make it a direct copy.

This character and species have no name, hence the "???" in the picture. The quote and the "Adam's Creature" is reference to one of the things that inspired this design, this particular character I can imagine having the voice of William Daniels, who played John Adams in the musical "1776" (which is where the quote is from).


This species is very tribal and have a firm belief in the spiritual realm and deities. They're society is heavily influenecd by the histories and sciences as well, being record keepers of all the knowledge they have gained over the years.
Because of their body structure, all of the species needs the use of a can for mobility. Their upper arms are used for stronger functions, such as being the weight bears, while the lower arms are more for manual work and handling.
The staves they use are essential to them, not only as they means of mobility but it is also connected to them spiritually, holding many totems and spells that are links to them.

This particular character is one of the younger ones, and being more open minded and more "adventerous" than most, willing to go out to discover and learn more, and has more of an active attitude to the more passive attitudes of the others.
