The fact that Eternal is toned is only going to make my Typhlosion challenge him more and more. And maybe my Icetales as well, though he's a little more formal in both fighting style and mannerisms in general.

If you wanted to learn about Whys, you'd have to really "wring out" my Typhlosion after beating him again. Or do that to another friend of his!

The only thing left is finding Whys, and depending on where he is, can be easy or hard. The hardest it can be if he is in a very very snowy area since he's just as white as snow can be! He may even have a set of clothes or combat fatigues he wears that's the same color as him just in case he wants to wear them, or he can be entirely naked and lay around somewhere. Either or he'd be camouflaged, hiding in plain sight. -v-

And if he's not anywhere there, then he'd be....very easy to spot even without his spear or long lance...whichever term is best!

Very interesting alternate ending!
Myself my idea was quite similar, except that Eternal would have kept his sanity and stayed in the castle by his own will after he ahd the opportunity to escape.

I would rather think he stayed of his own free will. He was offered to come back if the outside world was too much for him, wasn't he?

in fact Eternal allways leaves a trace wherever he turns up, so for that matter this idea is now wrong to begin with

Besides, you made a SMALL goof with this...how can Eternal use magic when that is clearly a MAGIC SEALING COLLAR on his neck?

some kind of influence, a part of his presence, a small change of the original fate such a story could have seen if Eternal wouldn´t have interfered, that kind of thing

oh and I haven´t forgotten. The colar could have its effect worn out after some time. Or Don can control its effect on will. Or it is another kind of collar.

Maybe Eternal is trying to capture someone, but has trouble doing so as the target keeps getting away from him somehow. Eternal realizes he cannot catch this guy on his own and would need at least two others with skills that rivals his own. Reluctantly, he seeks out the only two he know who happen to be closest. Upon reaching the castle, he would startle both Zharr and Solletico by coming in from the front. They would find it suspicious that he would come to them for aid given their past encounter, but decide to humor him and hear why he is there and what he wants. They would be be skeptical to help as, not only do they not trust him after last time, they find it hard to believe that he requires assistance in catching someone after the skills they saw in him. Eternal, seeing no choice, decides to earn their trust and cooperation the only way they would trust...by allowing them to shackle him up once more and tickle him for a certain amount of time however they want. After they work off their distrust from the activity, they would agree to work with Eternal to catch their target as they enjoy catching criminals, especially those who use magic. Once they catch the criminal, Eternal would join in making the target talk via tickling; actually helping the master ticklers in their work. All the while, Solletico would be considering taking on Eternal as an apprentice/assistant next to Zharr.

What do you think of this idea?

I did before, and he loved it too!

Yet I feel one reason he hasn't used it (or made something based on it) yet is because Eternal is still your character and he likely didn't want to make it without your say/permission in it... ^^;

I think I need to reassure dlpeattie that he can use Eternal whenever he wants. But the story Castle of Laughter is actually done for me. I don´t think that I will return to this story again.

With Eternal being present in many different dimensions and with many different guises, I imagine there might well be a version that did stay within the castle, seemingly driven into insanity and having become another of Don Soletitco's torturers, though possibly only the collar keeping him truly under control. I imagine if Solettico had any inkling of Eternal's true nature and power he might find him very useful, perhaps making it easier to bring the castle of laughter to touch other dimensions drawing many more victims and also Eternal's magic providing so many different means and ways for bondage and tickling, like the perpetual motion feather wheel, making Eternal perhaps Solettico's favourite 'pet' and 'tool'.

Though Zharr did have a degree of fondness for Eternal and he might be slightly jealous of being supplanted as Solettico's prize torturer so perhaps he might at an opportune moment make a slight adjustment to the collar, so it's hold will gradually weaken and sooner or later Eternal will once again be free, though always leaving an echo of himself behind but if not, at least there would be other selves that would be free if obviously getting themselves into situations where there's bondage involved and perhaps unfortunately also tickling but at least they'd be out of Solettico's hands.

Though this alternative ending would be tragic, Eternal having lost his sanity and freedom I'm sure a lot of people might be quite pleased to have a shirtless Eternal and at least we've visited the castle of laughter setting again one last time.

hehe I don´t know if somebody has done a fanfic of Castle of Laughter. But it would be really awesome because it would be the very first time, that somebody would take such an interest in my pics that they would continue it on their own
