I definitely know how scanners eat things, so I can only imagine how amazing these look in real life, but the good news is that they still turned out incredible even after that. The only scanner-specific issue I could see is that they might be just a bit light (unless that's just my monitor,) but it's not exactly hard to fiddle with the brightness/contrast on my end after the fact, so I'd say these are just about perfect.

*breathes a sigh of relief* I'm glad you like them so much regardless. You're right though; they're a little light, but since its no big deal to you, its no problem.

Raven is the coolest one imo, though the croc comes really close

The raven is naturally is my favorite, with the crocodile Girard and Edward the cheetah in a very close second.

It's really hard to say which sketch is my favorite as they are all phenomenal, but as the person trying to brainstorm and possibly think about putting this story together some day, the raven is my favorite character, so I suppose it all works out.

Aw, nutsen, lol. The layman can't really tell the difference between a crow and raven, but bird nuts like me can. XD Oh well; the bust still works well enough.

It took me a lot of research to even figure it out myself! I just figured that if I ever actually do this story, I should probably have things like this figured out definitively rather than writing "he was, like, a either crow or raven of some sort. You know, one of those black bird things? Probably."

*nods* Yes, that does sound incredibly lame, lol.

Generally, doing one's homework and showing one's work are good for character design, stories, or pretty much anything, I've found. So yeah.

Oh my God, these are phenomenal. You did a better job envisioning these characters than I did--literally, since a lot of it was just me having a basic idea and letting you figure out the details. You not only did a perfect job with the physical features (matching up to what I had in mind flawlessly when I actually had something in mind, and coming up with something that I ended up quite loving when I had no idea what to ask for beforehand,) you also got their moods and emotions spot-on. The emotions aren't just something one would have to infer after having read my description; they are visibly conveyed flawlessly and powerfully and anyone can see them immediately at a glance.

I should wrap this up before I gush any further, but suffice it to say that I am seriously blown away by how wonderful these are.

Do I have permission to repost these, by any chance? I'd give full credit and such, naturally. Words can't fully express how happy I am with them, after all.

All I can say is that I'm really glad you like them so much! Each of your characters had a dynamically different personality, and it was fun creating each and every one of them.

Of course you can repost them, since you already know the drill of "credit where credit is due" etc. Once again, I'm happy you're pleased with them!
