These are two of my holography lasers, a 532 nm laser (left) and a 457 nm laser (right). I'm attempting to combine their beams with a dichroic filter out of an LCD projector, to do two color denisyuk holograms.
This is the non-portable version of my holography panel... (-:

TRON (the one in the 80's) was shot at Lawrence Livermore national lab. The scene where they are taking the elevator to the "laser bay" was not a prop, the laser was Shiva (predecessor to the national ignition facility, in the same room). The de-rezing scene was shot where the target chamber was located (it had been loaned to France).
You'll get your own laboratory... This is literally decades of accumulating stuff at surplus auctions.

Got to love the big hamfest in Dayton, OH for old surplus govt. gear. Ack, 2 typos in prev post. Damn tablet. lol. Yeah, I still like the old TRON, but have the new one as well. Funny, the original MCP was basically based upon the CRAY / 2 MCP. I owned part of one once. Was thinking of making a mini one with stacks of clustered Raspberry pi's in the stacks instead of the old boards the tower sections used to have. They were a pain in the @$$. to wire up. I wish they would make the ram clusterable like the processors. Then it would really be something.

Photons, protons, tauntons. I got to photograph a Ghostbuster at the Mothman Festival. :) https://www.flickr.com/photos/42545.....7700374549161/
