Waddya want ? A girl as to grow somehow, and you can't make an omelette without breaking eggs. Just so happens that the 'eggs' in that case are delicious, deliiiciooouuus human souls !
So, does the crossed out text means the kitsune is now in control, with the human along for the ride ? And given how much he's grown into his role, I doubt he'll oppose anything she wants anyway.

Haha! Nah it means that FA font formatting is kind of garbage. It waa meant to be underlined but I didn't noticed Indcrew up until after I went to bed.
On average it's a 50/50 split, a relationship based on compromises or else they'd always be fighting.
Her kitsune side wants power and growth no matter the cost while her(his) human side well still has human morals, emotions and psychological needs for the most part.
Most of the time, they trust their other side enough to shut down while the other does their thing.
So like their inner monologue says, human side reigns during the day; kitsune dominates the night only to find complete peace alone meditating.
This current dilemma was: Kitsune wants to torture and feed on human souls indiscriminately vs. Human says hell no we aren't killing anyone
The resulting compromise was Not torturing or feeding on innocents, only grave sinners and vile souls
Although the human still wants no part in that and simply falls asleep while the kitsune works
On average it's a 50/50 split, a relationship based on compromises or else they'd always be fighting.
Her kitsune side wants power and growth no matter the cost while her(his) human side well still has human morals, emotions and psychological needs for the most part.

Well that's what the middle ground implies. Having half of your being be a good natured human doesn't completely negate the other half's evil impulses.

That is about as well as arguing a 'close enough' points as I am going to get.
Other then that there is always the fact the merging is going to be hard to get in the first place where who is who. Not to mention the age difference.
