I had some time to do a painting while I was at Konsplosion this past weekend (had a great time overall), and I made SpaceGodzilla! I was looking at the Hedorah I painted earlier this year, which was done with green and purple (kinda taking some inspiration from Bob Eggleton’s work), and I wanted to do another painting with stylized colors in similar fashion.

For those curious, I only used two shades of green, two purples, yellow, black, and white. The paint doesn’t really apply at full opacity (aside from the black), so I can really get some good range of shades despite a limited selection of colors without even mixing them.

Man, I am REALLY pleased with how his crystals turned out.
