I mean, she was IN a hospital! And she only lost most of her bowel and some lung and organ tissue. Along with serious damage to her throat and the loss of both eyes.
So like, yeah, she blind and anemic and needs oxygen to survive and poops through a bag and needs extra nutrition from a different bag to survive, but she's alive!
