Day 7 - Skull Study 01
Fox Squirrel and the extinct Marsupial Tiger.
This is actually pretty fun to do, though I kind of messed up the perspective of the marsupial tiger sketch a bit.

lol I was gonna mention the foreshortening, but you already got it. I think you may have missed some of the subtle points on the tiger skull, I'm not sure since I've never seen one. It's just that skulls tend to have a lot of little ridges and shapes to them, and it looks a bit simplified, esp around the top of the jawbone and stuff.
Unfortunately, that's a side effect of being fossilized. A few contours get lost, and the stony texturing makes it hard to interpret the form and shadow of the object. I also used a 3-D model image I found somewhere to try and add back some information about the contour that I missed from the reference photo. :P
Well done :) I've not recently looked at the skull for either of these recently (never for the tiger, the most recent thing I've looked at were primates a week or so ago) but they both look nice and well proportioned. If as has been pointed out and explained a little skimping on the details in the case of the latter skull.
