Good question, I realize I haven't been entirely clear on that.
I am willing to do pairings (two characters) for sketches/flat colored sketches, they would simply cost double. For icons, I can do a paired icon set (where the background overlaps & the characters interact), which will also simply count as two icons in terms of price.

Forgive me for dragging this thread out, but I'm torn between a few ideas, and I'd like to make sure I know what you're up for doing before I settle on one!
Would a two-character speedpaint be an option if the image was environment-centric / the characters were a small, less-detailed portion of the image, like this? And are you okay with drawing young characters (entirely SFW, of course)?
If not, totally fine! Just been sitting on this idea for a while, and I know you'd do it justice. :D

Yes, I could do that if the two characters are very small - in that case I'd use my own best judgement as to their level of detail. This would count as an exception.
I'm fine with young characters, just no diapers or anything that could be considered a kink. Kids doing kid things though, no problem!

Out of curiosity, do you know how long you'll be spanning out the completion of the pieces you select? I understand that you'll be taking on 30 hours worth of work, but how are you looking to break it up? I ask mainly because I'd like to toss my ticket in the ring for a larger piece, and would like an idea of how soon the second half-payment could be expected following the first. Should one expect to send the second half of payment in a handful of days, a week, two weeks, etc.?

I expect to need at least two months to finish this batch, with larger commissions spanning about that time frame. Either way, I don't mind as much if the second payment comes in a little later (up to about a week max), I simply withhold the high resolution files until the payment has been received.
