This picture was a bit of a nightmare. The first sketch was terrible so I decided to move to traditional, which actually worked!
It's was going pretty ok and I still like the final result, but the scannr completly broke my colours so I spent the rest of the day trying to fix it, at the beggining I was trying to make it as close to the original as possible, but I eventually gave up and used the scan as a based and started painting over it. So now it's more like a digital/traditional mixed media.
It was a challenge, but I'm really happy with how it looks.
And this is most likely one of the last coloured drawings for a while, Inktoer starts tomorrow!!!
Let's see how much I can do! All my prep plans fell apart, so we'll see, hopefully I'll keep myself from being too ambitious.

Thank you
To be honest I completely forgot Spike has wings now. For Smolder they got hidden behind her back, I tried to make them open ut it wasn't really working with the rest of the picture, I normally draw them pretty small so the visible bits were small and more confusing than anything.
Maybe next time. Smolder is cool, I'm sure I'll be drawing her again.
