In celebration of our one year anniversary that is today 9/30/2018 I got this in remembrance on how we became "us".

The following is based on how things truly happened.

The day started like any normal autumn day. Beautiful hues of orange, yellow and red began to create a breathtaking appearance among the trees as autumn began to take over, crisp autumn air, a slight overcast and just enough light escaping between the clouds to create small beams of light along the scenery.

Two friends gathered to enjoy the beautiful day at a local apple farm, a tradition amoung them for the past several years. But who would know, that today of all days; a spark would be created that would change the future of the two dear friends forever.

As Aiden and Maeniel walked along the farm, looking at the gorgeous landscape, animals and enjoying food, fresh cider and laughs; something began to happen. A familiar ping of longing, of admiration had began to start once again within the shewolf. It didn't take her by surprise, in fact; it happened alot throughout their friendship. However, this time; it was different. She chose to remain quiet about it, stealing side glances at her best friend when he wasn't paying attention and just smiled. The day progressed into evening and the butterflies were still very much present.

Maeniel asked if she was ready to head home and Aiden softed replied "yes". They walked arms linked to his car and began the journey home. Aiden smiled as she gazed at the man beside her driving and thought to herself "Damn doesn't he look gorgeous today..." Slowly Maeniel parks outside of the shewolfs home. The two share a long embrace and depart.

Aiden began to relax into her bed after a long day spent walking around with her favorite person. Another face splitting smile etches itself upon her face as her phone goes off, it's him messaging her. Softly the faes padded digits began to type away, using what little courage she had left to finally say what has been behind her lips all day.

"So, I think I have a crush on you again. You looked really cute today..."
"Well, it's up to you to decide what you'd like to do about it."

After talking awhile the two agreed to try again and go on a date. Little did they know, that walking around an apple farm would set in motion events that lead to finding their soulmates. Eachother.
