Lineart is awesome but unfortunately I think the coloring is much worse... First you use very dark colors for everything... it might be because your monitor is set too bright and gamma correction is too high... you see colors properly but anyone with properly adjusted monitor will see them pretty dark. Even though the lineart was very precise... coloring isn't... you have to practise on it.

it looked much better on my other computer x.x idk, i do agree that i could have worked on the coloring a bit... but i was diong it on my laptop and for some reason it wasnt letting the water color tool function right D:

well I see... first advice... download (or use the one privided with drivers for you graphics card) program for adjusting your monitor... I mean brightness (contrast is usually set on maximum but normal contrast, not digital contrast)... I don't know if LCD's have the color temperature function but the right color temperature is 6500K... be sure to adjust your monitor well using these adjusting programs and try to force yourself to using a little bit brighter colors. Dark colors are fine but a) not in every picture b) drawing with dark colors and keeping a picture well looking is very hard.

wonderful work on the image Efen, but what's up with the rapier blade? the tip and cutting edge of it looks like it got forged all wonky, like a weird version of a fenceing saber crossed with a chinese dao.

^^ i wanted it to be that way, cuz it reminds me of a schweizer which is a type of rapier with a blade like this ^^ i have a rapier at home that is 2 sided and thin and pointy so i know what they look like, just something i wanted to do

I've checked all over and apparently the type of rapier you are refrenceing is actually named after either a reigion in Germany near Switzerland or Switzerland itself. the style of that blade is really unusual due to me not finding any type of rapier out there that actually has those blade dynamics. can you please send me a note with the link referencing the info you used for the image so that I can check it out for myself? if so, I'd greatly appreciate it, as I'm a bit of a blade nut myself...

I dont quite remember where... but i know it exists! i looked around for it... and i cant find it... must have been a custom made blade... but there is a rapier called the schweizer it was on several video games ive played with accurate weapons. it might have a different spelling... but D: it was cool

katanas break to easy ^^ i know from experience XD D:

none of mine have ever broke, but i suppose a rapier is made of stronger metal

well its not the metal, its just the way they are made hehe... Katanas are meant to be strong against full force swinging... but if you hit something at the wrong angle the sword will bend because it is curved, rapiers are long and straight and are meant to be flexible and bendy
