D'awww! It's an adorable, little, baby, monstrous-living-tank!
So here is newborn Kyrophon with his parents. Like any high ranked Cnossan male, Demophon has several wives. Kryrophon has an older sister by his mother and an older step brother by Demophon's second wife, but he's his mother's eldest son.
In my original female cnossan concept, I didn't give her a mane, since I viewed it a bit like a lion's mane that only the males have. However, I think I'll let that slide. They do live in the freezing mountains afterall, it makes sense that both sexes has long, insulating hair.
Still not really sure what I'm doing with this comic business. I was gonna make a few frames in one submission, but then I went overboard on the one image again. Whatever. I'll have to sort that out in time, especially when I come to the action.

Hmm, at the time Kyrophon was born, two. By the time Kyro reaches adolescence and leaves the tribe, Demophon has become chieftain and has about four wives. Due to the large number of males killed in their adolescence, there is a deficit of adult males, hence stronger males tend to take multiple wives.
I'm envious that you drew a minotaur couple with a baby before I did.

Thanks! I had a good time with this, it's a lot more... wholesome than a lot of the violence and barbarism I tend to draw normally. I'd be interested to see your take on the idea. :)
Haha well, the race is on then but you've got a bit of a head start on me! Still, it's not a zero-sum game- the more people drawing cool minotaurs the better!
