As my latest 'sweeps month' winds down, I'd chosen "National Coffee Day" (September 29, 2018) to present my latest "Front & Back: FFE" comic gag (with 'Bor-Bor Bear'), as it deals with a recent news item...
I had learned, earlier in the week, that national chain eatery Dunkin' Donuts decided to change its name. Effective January, 2019, their new name will be just Dunkin', mainly because their coffee sales are far superior to their donut sales.
This turn of events still hasn't stopped 'Bor-Bor' from going there to stock up on his supply of powdered 'sinkers' and he decided to wear a T-shirt with a message devoted to donut lovers. It states that a donut with a bite taken out of it resembles the letter 'U', and that it could still be incorporated into the logo of the chain's new name... and he wants to volunteer his services in taking as many bites as possible!
