And this is my nearly 20 year old cat having just jumped up on the desk next to my computer monitor which is a frequent place for her to sleep at night unless she's laying in the middle of the hallway. She's never been a very big cat and it literally took her years to grow to the size she is now.

That's what I like to think too. My dad used to say she was an ugly cat. Something about her nose I guess but she's always been pretty to me.

Oh yes, her fur is quite soft and silky esepcially after eating her canned food. She's always had nice, big pretty eyes. The irises are showing some age lately but they're still quite pretty.

*nods* kitties have some of the best fur, in my mind. Black, persian, and siamese especially, but then I'm prejudiced:P

She looks to have aged fairly well, her fur is a little fluffy rather than smooth. But that's to be expected at such an age, she still looks very much snuggable though. :D

I would but she's been gone for 5 years. Still I did and do treasure the time I did have her, though I wish I'd paid more attention to her at times than I fear I did.

i was the same way with my fat furball. when i went to my parents to bury my grandmother he remembered me and went right to me and never left my side, a moth after i returned home he passed away. i have not had another cat since. it hurts too much imo

I haven't had another cat since she's been gone either. I was supposed to adopt someone's cat since they were moving into assisted living but they never did. I probably wouldn't have gotten through the years since without taking care the dog I inherited after my grandmother passed away.
