Nice! There's a lot more depth to Goatella than I thought... and something tells me that under all the bandages and everything is a ball of aggression that Aro would only happily unleash should Goatella say the word.
Looks like Ham-Ham will have her work cut out for her.
Also, I am tickled pink at the use of "H-Bird" abbreviation. It makes me recal the days of 8 bit and early 16-bit character name limitations.

<LoL!> I'm glad you appreciated that reference. There were actually a number of possibilities I ran through for Aro's pre-intro, but none sounded better than going old school with H-Bird. Oopa!
*Grins* Yeah, I am trying hard to keep Aro in character as much as possible. As you can guess, this is not the last you will hear from him. Nope, nope, nope!
It's amazing how much of this story would not be possible without Nishi. He has so many interesting characters and I am eternally grateful for his kindness in allowing me to borrow them in creating the Creative Campaign.
*Pauses and smiles* Though, *Shuffles eagerly* there are still many other cameos to come. Yep, yep, yep!

It's amazing how when we try to do something right we always seem to end up doing something wrong, too.
In Ham-Ham's case, she didn't think it was neccessary to burden Hex with the details of her past as King Avis' loyal lieutenant. Rather, she wanted to focus on all the positives she could to help raise a better and stronger generation of Bennets by instilling in Hex a positive feeling toward king and country without glorifying war through her exploits on the battlefield.

Aw man, Fudgy and Toroth both got to reading this before me... and it was only up an hour ago! ;O; I won't be so late to the next party.
It was neat to see them meet! :3 I've been wondering how things would go when they finally run into each other. They're really on edge! But it's no wonder - with Ham-Ham being a pal of Avis, and with the big evil book, anyone would be cautious with 'em. :3 But luckily after some clarification things aren't so tense between 'em!
...But now she has to go straighten things out with Hex huh? :D Haha, hopefully she can get him to stay along!

Yeah, *laughs* I was quite surprised how fast this section got read after I posted it last night. Though, it makes sense considering many around these parts are either night-owls and/or live in a time zone that is favorable in comparison to EST. :)
As for Ham-Ham's reception, I really wanted to go for something that helped explore her character more than what was already known from the original Creative Campaign. Furthermore, as focus has mostly been on the Bennets, I wanted to allow Goatella and Aro to represent the feelings felt by the Wedar since the great war that was discussed in The Battle of Relentless Hope.
Needless to say, the caring nature that seems so natural to Goatella made her perfect for the role as the former cleric, now hierophant. Aro, on the other hand, is mostly playing his role of disgruntled hummingbird who just ends up being at the wrong place at the wrong time. :)

I'm really thankful for Nishi allowing me to borrow his characters in the creation of the Creative Campaign. Needless to say, it would be a really tough write without his vast cast of fascinating fellows. :)
No worries, either. Your intentions were good and your experience will shine through when you manage to track down your young associate. :)
