I needed to work on something else to offset the lady/sensual/pinup stuff I was working on yesterday. I just felt like I was getting too comfortable in something that I know I already like to do, but honestly? It feels too easy... don't get me wrong; I LOVE to draw the female form, it's just that at times, it feels too easy, and in that, I like to challenge myself.

So how do I do that? By working on more masculine type works, which in this sense, means science-fiction, action-based works that I rarely do.

What's this piece about? Well it's part of a story I've been sitting on for the longest time, with a drawing, this one, that I've been sitting on just as long and finally got around to picking back up again. Why haven't I done anything with either? Who knows... all I know is that it's something else besides boobs, ass and erotic stares. And that's all I need for the moment.
