My first playing around sketches of the characters I intend to use in a certain possible comic series I mentioned in my last journal. I said I was gonna make it a surprise, but... I can't help myself this time. They look so cool X3

I'm making up species names for them all too. Xenu is now a "Lingchu," and the others fall along a similar naming scheme.

The top left character(added second heads with a hair design underneath him later on), is based off of Jun-Lee's design. For those not using Wikipedia, that's the name of Ling-Ling's father and is seen as an evolution of Ling-Ling's species(ala Pikachu and Raichu). And so, Jun-Lee equals a "Junchu."

On the top left is one that's much easier to figure out. The "Nichu" is based upon Ling-Lings temporary life battle partner Nipul. I knew how I wanted his hair to look WAY in advance, so I didn't have to do two sets of heads for him. I've dubbed his species one of the most powerful, kinda like Mewtwo.

Kinda in the middle down there is clearly NOT a Pocket Battle Monster at all. But I just couldn't help wanting to add this particular version of the world's favorite fawn. Seriously, how can I resist toying with an evil Bambi??
