I think the thing i find most attractive about this is imagining the dagger shes picking her teeth with is the broadsword from the original and then comparing that size difference in my head <_<

The front of the packaging shows her wrapped around the leg of a big muscle guy, the sort whose biceps are bigger than his IQ. Presumably, he's the "he" who got so lost while wandering the frozen northern wastes.

Either that or some game designers in that day were sneakily forward-thinking with a transgendered PC.

I had that game on my C64 and my Amiga! (the Amiga version was far superior) And no there was no female character in the game...other then the scantily clad victory prize! hehe false advertising at its best! Still it was a kinda cool fighting game for its age.

Oh the nostalgia is great here. I loved Barbarian.

I'm putting together some sketches based off of the cover work for the Barbarian games with two of my characters. Glad someone else was inspired by the same thing too! Awesome work JJ!
