MF-01 Speed Dart Midget Fighter Concept
I guess I can't get enough to creating fictional fighter jet concepts since I got into designing the AV-1 Star Lifter. So here's another, but smaller one.
Midget Fighter (MF) - 01 "Speed Dart"
a small midget fighter / parasite fighter jet concept (see this link to know about parasite aircraft: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parasite_aircraft)
Got it's callsign because of it's dart/missile like shape and small size. Only single-piloted and controlled by fly-by-wire systems. It's cockpit is the whole ejection pod, like the system find in AV-1 Star Lifter.
Powered by single low bypass turbofan engine with thrust vectoring nozzles. Only weapon is a single triple barrel cannon, we could add laser canon as well. Also equipped with own landing gears for emergency landings.
Capable of speeds of 800 - 1000 kmh.
