I still think there's something weird about it. Maybe I'll put my money where my mouth is and scribble up a suggestion tonight.

It kinda seems from the side view like the heads are a little flat, but hell, You're a lot farther along than I am so there's probably just something I haven't learned yet. That and I'm unfamiliar with squirrel anatomy lol

Definitely an improvement. The muzzle seems more natural and the proportions are good. You could leave it like this or keep experimenting I think. Either way it's a pretty good base to build on and the slight oddnesses (not a word but yeah lol) of it could be improved upon when implementing it an a more elaborate picture/naturally over time and many drawings. It's good work :)

The forehead looks a bit flat, but the skull suggest otherwise ... maybe it's the hair.
Bringing the chin back a bit, like cantainq suggested, would be a nice experimentation.

All in all, it's a good drawing and you have a very distinctive style, though there is still something off about it.

Yeah, I still think it's a little weird, too. The ear is particularly strange. Personally if I'm going for hybridizing the head like that, I just put the ear outward facing. Which makes it look kind of odd straight on, but I'd rather it be a normal looking ear in a weird position than a weird looking ear in a normal position. If that makes any sense.

That kind of makes sense, it's an idea I'd play around with. ;)
