This is a new character I have been wanting to draw for some time now... but never did. Probably out of laziness. *Shrugs*
I will probably be making a full bio/ref sheet for him soon. But I had to get this out. It's the first part of a 2 piece pic of him. The next will be... a bit more mature probably.
So far, he is an unnamed black/harlequin Great Dane. Because it is written in many places that Germany is the birthplace of the dane breed, I decided to make him a policeman. Cop dog... How far is that from my style? lol
Please just ignore the background... I had to throw it in.

Just wanted to ask, what's up with the two different spellings of "polizei?" You have it spelled "polizei" on the shield. But, in the larger print, you have it spelled as "polizie." Was that a typo?
But, regardless, the artwork is really nice. My dad, who was in the police, love it immensely.

actually yes. this was something I hadn't caught when scribbling the smaller badge. I'll make sure to fix it and re-post. Funny thing is, someone just told me that it's spelled 'polizei' so I'm gonna have to research again. make sure which is correct, and go with that.

I was noticing all the different insignia/badges that they had. This one seemed more simple and natural. And that's why I love FA. Post a pic using what little I could find on google, and I have people who can tell me the rest. *grinz* thanks again.

Yah, I stayed up a lil while after you went to bed to finish this guy. XD I always get distracted whenever people are online.
I get to talkin, instead of arting. Go figure. Best part is. I have people here on FA to help me learn more about the things I needed to know. Like how to spell it correxly. I'm a retard.

I also like the backround xD... For you it might not a great thing xD but I would need days to draw such a backround xD so damin be praoud of it >.<!!!!

actually it did take me a really long time to get that background. even with how simple it is. I haven't found a line tool that actually does lines on PS. Go figure.
Also, I am not too keen on most Police men.... but I do like the K9 units. XD This guy kinda counts as both. And being a great dane makes him even better. I love big dogs. and the bigger the better. After getting to stay with a friend that had one of them that weighed as much as me, I really wanted to draw one.

True, most of the time. But I had a guy from saxon give me a bunch of pics of the gear they use, and clothes they wear. One was of an officer in just a regular off duty T-shirt that was just like the one I drew ( excluding the badge under the lettering )
