Aasima El-baten is a young fennec from the desert nation of Silvera.

She was born into a family that controlled most of the trade in Silvera, and while one might assume this would mean she had an easy life it was nothing but the opposite. Constantly under threat of abuse from her parents for the slightest misstep or costing them any of their fortune. As a result she learned how to conceal her actions and make herself unnoticeable. She finally ran away from her parents after they had promised her to a wealthy gem trader in return for a tighter grip on all trade within Silvera. It was a chance encounter that she ran into a wanderer on his way to the 2nd annual World's Fair who goes by the name, Cliff Torus. They have since formed a familial bond and she's been working to try and impress her adoptive father through martial prowess.

Aasima now enjoys the position of Commerce Minister in the colony of Saisei
