So this totally hot English man comes up to my till to buy a phone card. He swipes his debit card and the machine beeps, giving him a thank you message. This is odd since he JUST swiped the card and hadn't even pushed any buttons yet.

My till seems to think he's still inputting his debit info so my screen is locked down until he's done. The pin pad thinks that the whole thing is finished so the buttons on it lock down until the till tells it otherwise.

Reboot till.
Enter Point of Sale program (P.O.S. -yes i get the irony in the acronimic name.-)
Log in.
P.O.S fails to log in and freezes.
Reboot till.
Enter P.O.S program and....wait.......what do you MEAN I'm not authorized to even enter the system?!
Call boss and reboot till.
Voicemail.
Call boss again.
voicemail.
call boss AGAIN.
voicemail.
leave angry message and reboot till 8 more times.

15 minutes later it finally works again, the English man (after sharing a few good laughs with me over the situation) has ventured off to go destroy a rival gas station with his debit card of doom, and business continues as normal.

2 hours later, boss calls back to see what the trouble is.
