The Altech Thi-series Mining Droid is the pinnacle of mining tech. The droid cam stand at a full height of 10 feet tall and can still move with exceptional mobility and agility when lower to the ground. The droid is based off of a 2 legged, heavy chassis for quick and easy advancement through mines. It is equipped with 4 mining laser emitters on its spherical head and a tractorbeam to lift rubble. The droid has incredibly powerful legs, able to survive falls from around 80 meters with ease and it is incredibly, insanely armored for just a worker unit. Surprisingly, the reason for the insane amount of armoring is not for combat and is actually so it can survive mining collapses and even save workers afterwards. Coincidentally, this has made the droid a literal tank if it is ever used in combat and the only vulnerable part... somewhat because even that is armored... is its powerpack on its back. Due to its incredible movement speed as it is equipped with hyperadvanced Altech servos, it can cross long distances with incredible ease and its feet utilize special gravitonic technology that allows it to cling to walls and ceilings without actual digging into them with claws.
