THE SECRET CHAMBER - BAJET’S TOMB
Following the Cat statue’s gaze, the unearthed passage winds you back through the first Pylon. Entering the sigiled door, the air changes, as the presence you felt at the beginning feels so close.
You continue down the tunnel.
A female voice purrs as you enter the secret chamber. “At last, my hero comes to set me free. Open this prison, and be rewarded.” The voice speaks, and at once the torches on the wall suddenly come to life.
You approach the black sarcophagus, carved in effigy of a cat, very similar to the statue that led you here in the first place. “Yes, that’s the way, open the sarcophagus, and release me.” The voice cries again.
You place your hands on the sarcophagus and push. A figure lies below, with her eyes closed. Once the lid slides off completely, she places her hands on the coffin lip and pushes herself out. Her brilliant green eyes snap open, and her feline face splits into a smile. She eyes you carefully; her gold jewelry giving her an air of royalty, or perhaps divinity?
“Freedom at last, how show I reward you?” She places her finger on your jaw, and your first thought comes to mind. ”An excellent choice,” she purrs, reading your thoughts, drawing ever closer to you and the change begins.
Zoe figured out (or was lucky enough to guess) where the secret was in the CYOA.
Consequently he got to choose anything to be changed to, and Bajet, awakened from her eternal slumber was eager to grant the wish, before she was loosed on the world.
