Lowpoly 3D Dog Test
Fooling around with Blender again. I really like the aesthetic of early 3D video games, so I tired to emulate something like that in both the model and the texture. Because it's me, ofc it's with dogs and stuff.
This is the first time I've unwrapped and made UV textures in/for Blender! Texture unwrapping is usually very intimidating for artists who are new to CGI and I was no exception, but this was actually easier then I thought it would be, even with my UVs being absolutely horrible. Just goes to show anyone can learn anything!
I screwed up modeling with the mirror modifier and because of that couldn't properly auto-weight map, so I never found out how to rig him so he actually works. That makes him pretty useless as a model, but I learned a lot from making him. Blender's not so scary after all, turns out.
