Again, the young character has become for the second comic more cohesive in his character-design, and I like him even more. I'm not sure if I can make the same sort of commentary vis-a-vis the villains, because it's not really clear whether they actually ARE cohesive, or just shadowy figures. But insubstantial or not, the final panel is mysterious, dark, and threatening, and is perfect for what I believe you're trying to convey.
