Wyndika are creatures that inhabit an alternate dimension that is inaccessible to humans, apart from a scant few that are taken to the world by the Wyndiko. Their world is similar to our own, echoing some parts of human architecture, as our worlds are in inexplicably linked, in run-down and overgrown buildings scattered throughout the heavily forested and marshland areas of the Wyndika's homeland. Wyndika themselves rarely leave the forests, preferring the cover of trees and the insides of these buildings to keep themselves hidden from potential threats.
Wyndika are feral creatures, generally solitary and fearful of other creatures and in some instances, one another. It is unlikely that more than two Wyndika will be seen together at any one time, these pairs usually a parent and a child, as they are fiercely territorial and have been known to be cannibalistic in times of need (food scarcity, protecting their young, etc.)
