The completed mask for my theatrical-style Pickle (ruffed lemur) costume.
She ended up with her insane eyes after all attempts to give her normal pupils failed due to the mask being slightly wonky (as explained in my WIP submission). Asymmetric pupils were, funnily enough, the only thing that looked right.
The face of the mask was built with Wire Form and a type of modelling clay that becomes a lightweight, MDF-like material when dry. The teeth were all individually hand-sculpted from Sculpey and the tongue is a taxidermy piece painted with fluorescent acrylic. Speaking of which, all the featured neon paint and fur is UV-reactive.

Both this and the bodysuit are BEAUTIFUL. I love all the colors (Pickle has a wicked awesome character design) and the how you did the face---the fur ruffle, especially, looks awesome. I can't wait to see the whole thing together. :D

I'm in the midst of designing a fairly similar mask of Skull Bunny (a Day of the Dead version) with a hard sculpted face and soft/faux fur hood+ears, so it's nice to see this for inspiration! :)
