For this comic, Rodent decides to sneak into Dynamite's birthday cake for a nice surprise, not realizing that Chrysanthemum and Pineapple have decided to use real explosives instead of candles, knowing how much Dynamite would enjoy that. The surprise seemed to be on Rodent when he popped out, only to have it all explode around him. :)
Valy did such an awesome job with this entire comic, from the sequence of events for each frame, to the expressions and look of each of the characters. I love how Rodent came out as he sneaks into the cake, as well as that final expression after everything blows up. Hehe.
And of course, Dynamite is simply just an awesome and fun character. I can never get enough of seeing him. If he were actually having a birthday, I'd be sure to invite myself in to the party, knowing it would be a blast. ;)
