Ultimate chewtoy, but recommended for outdoor use only! Once my wolfdog played with pine cone (it's not "pinecorn", AFAIK) in my bed and *ick*, not good idea :)

No, No, No! It can be called a "Pine Corn," a "Pine Cone," and a "Pine Burr!" It depends on which part of the country one is from. The Wolf here has the right idea though. After all, Euell Gibbons went through a lot of trouble to prove they were edible.
