*-~*And he looked up to the clouds, watching as an angel's face smiled down to him.
"Then, and forever", he said softly.
"And forever till never", she replied.
The clouds parted, revealing the bright, pale face of the moon.
"A new year", he said softly, lowering his head as he slumped down, next to the solid stone.
"And a new moon to start it all", she said softly in the cool night, disappearing from sight, as a dozen fireflies lit up the dark night, keeping him in their warm glow.
How he longed to be with her,
But she always, forever be with him*-~*
The first year is the worste, the other ones just sting.
PS: I am indeed fine. Just doing something special for the occassion.
