Notice Anything New...? (Spyro - Skylanders)
Az is occupied with other things for the moment, so I guess I should throw something up in the meantime. Lets see.......hmm....oh right, I forgot about that! Might as well call this partially Spytember tahahah!
Remember the Skylanders Academy show? Not me, not really, don't do Netflix heh heh...but it's 3rd season is apparently happening. I DO remember a certain purple dragon going to the dark side though, at the end of season 2.
Now, DARK SPYRO I remember, ho boy. When that ape guy got petrified and blown to PIECES? Or how about during the Death Battle between Crash and Spyro (done magnificently by the way), where you actually get the skinny on the details of just how STRONG the guy is in that mode. SERIOUSLY, from the sound of it, even our Orbital Cannons on the ship may not be that powerful. Smashing atoms? Phew...yeah, don't uhh...don't tick that guy off to the max degree...
Anyway, from what I can get, you REALLY have to tick Spyro off to get him to go dark. Like...say...squashing his surrogate brother, Sparx. Or being some new antagonist with darkness powers that drains the light out of you. Either or.
From how Toys for Bob are handling Re-ignited, I wonder how Dark Spyro is going to be portrayed. I mean the concept is interesting, having the MAIN character go to the dark side for awhile....though....from what I saw...I'm...unsure....
I mean, DS is a pretty dark fellow...don't he speaks much in the LoS series, but he does in the Death Battle and seems kind of accurate. For Skylanders' series though, seems like he's just...Spyro with dark scales and a slightly more aggressive 'tude. And going undercover? Heh heh...wow...I mean if my scales turn blue suddenly, I'm sure people are going to wonder heheheh.
But ehh, either way, free publicity hehehe. But I do wonder how other Academy members would react...I mean...come on it's...it's obvious something's wrong..................right?

Well Az has told me that he somewhat firmly agrees that should be the case with the extra stuff. LoS shouldn't touch the Reignited Trilogy, same with Skylanders. They're separate things. Granted, MAYBE future games in the original Spyro, now redone, may put it in, but yeah, nobody should expect him or any Skylander stuff to go into Reignited.
I VERY much don't expect Skylanders to show up. but I feel like if any LoS stuff shows up, it would be in some (possibly free) DLC, as just like...a skin of Spyro, or a kinda "epilogue" story (I remember a youtuber proposing the idea of basically making a DLC for a newly remade Classic Cynder, and she'd be in Year of the Dragon at the end,w tih an entire new hub world where she would take over sometimes like a Shiela or Sgt Bird level. was a pretty cool concept)
but yea, anything Skylanders I highly doubt will make it in since...most Spyro fans either like the classics, LoS, or both (though...the ones who tend to like both are rare sadly...), but almost NO Spyro fans actually consder Skylanders a "Spyro" series..myself included. I'm sorry, is Smash Brothers a mario game? no? then please tell me how Skylanders is a Spyro series.

I DO remember he's an unlockable skin in Eternal Night for completing the Dragon Challenges though. And not just a skin like those two in Heroes Tail, he also comes with that Convexity Breath AND a killer combo move that makes Dark Spyro out to be a martial artist wow heheh.
