Lucinia, or when abbreviated, Lucy, is the master of subverting expectations, especially those of stereotypes revolving around her species.

In the public’s eyes, snakes, mainly those of large stature, are seen as terrifying, cruel, and sadistic. Lucinia is none of these things, at least after you take the time to get to know her.

She lives a very humble life, starting from her childhood. From the very beginning, her family emphasized this attitude of not showing off their wealth. If you didn’t already assume, her family was indeed rich, to an extreme extent, despite her parent’s immense wealth, they didn’t live like kings, due to their own values.

Of course, Lucinia, being the main candidate for their inheritance, was taught these values from an early age, and by the time she had grown old enough to move out, she expressed no desire for a large house, expensive cars, or even anything too special in life.

She opted to buy a moderately-sized house, which was located on the outskirts of a forest, where she settled down, content with living off of the money that had been gifted to her.

Admittedly, ever since she was a little girl, she dreamed of raising a family, specifically having biological children. These hopes were dashed after a medical examination when she was 21, which ruled that she was infertile, and completely unable to have children of her own.

Now, most people would not have hit their physical prime at age 43, but Lucinia is an exception. Her species has a reputation for living large amounts of time, upwards of two centuries, sometimes even more. Due to the scale of her lifespan, being 43 is more akin to her sustaining the physiology of a young adult, somewhere in their mid to early 20’s.

Despite her inability to have her own children, she intends on using her long lifespan to foster children, which is something she takes deep pride in.

Her attitude towards children, and even teenagers is very adoring, even when the children aren’t hers, though most parents wouldn’t be okay with a towering snake woman being around their offspring. Due to her love for children, she makes an exceptional maternal figure, with her patience being the most important of these traits, as she isn’t easily frustrated.
Even if she is calm-natured, she can be stern when needed, but she never takes joy in doing this, as she is a natural pushover. In her many years of living alone, she took time to learn how to cook, with most of her best foods being simple things, like cakes, breakfast items, and various desserts.

Her physicality makes some things difficult for her, since her tail takes up a large portion of her mass, making it a hindrance at times. One example being doorways, which she routinely struggles with, since her tail is just too wide, and too fat to squeeze through them easily. Despite these hindrances, she finds ways to use her tail to her advantage, whether it’s for cuddling, or defensive reasons. To elaborate, she enjoys cuddling immensely, and if she could, she would do it all the time.

As previously mentioned, she is extremely kind-natured, and never wishes to be thrust into a situation where she had to defend herself, or one of her children, that being said, if she was forced to do it, she’d be quite a force to be reckoned with. Given that she’s a nearly extinct species of snake, with a very large muscular structure, she’d be able to put out roughly 300-400 PSI worth of constricting force on anyone she managed to get ahold of.

Violence is uncharacteristic of her, but not out of the question, based on the circumstances.
