This small dappled Kobold is named Brio, a travelling companion of Bruvelighe's who occasionally and begrudgingly lets her accompany him on his travels...

Sitting somewhere between accomplice and annoyance, Brio is a major contributor to the felonious endeavors of the group--from thinking up schemes and planning out heists and capers, all the way to basic larceny and fraud. Her intentions are ultimately self-serving but it winds up working out for Bruve more often than not. So great is her capacity for criminal inspiration that she often grows possessive of her own ideas, choosing not to share them until the very last minute--in fact she even goes so far as to write these ideas down on her arms and conceal them beneath band-aids (which she thinks are just the neatest thing ever). Bruve seems to think she was once another species that ran afoul of a transformation draught or spell, citing her odd appearance and mannerisms. When pressed on the subject she flatly denies the possibility--either having lost any memory of such an event or choosing not to recall. She assures him that she's "110% Kobold," and while that may be questionable at best her stature and avarice lend considerable weight to the claim.

Originally working as a sapper amidst a tribe of other Kobolds, Brio's aforementioned strange appearance and unconventional thinking methods earned her no shortage of derision from her peers. While she excels at her assigned job, she holds a fundamentally different view concerning Kobold society and outsiders: namely instead of harming others and taking their possessions through force, why not negotiate and tease (read: fleece) their belongings right off them? For Brio, the thrill is in the con as much as it is the payoff.

"I mean, it's not like they really need all that stuff! And why waste the energy?! Let them do the work!"
(She seems oblivious to the fact that there's still a victim in this scenario, but at least it results in a living victim. Hopefully.)

In the face of near-constant invective from her brethren, Brio elected to self-exile herself and wander the world--stealing, swindling, and getting into no shortage of trouble. On the day she ran into Bruvelighe she had the gall to attempt stealing things straight out of his mouth, despite his protests and the dangers involved in the act. This brazen obsession with his ability and its villainous potential led to her all but demanding to team up with him--and after much arguing and cajoling she somewhat succeeded. To date...she rides Bruve's coattails to full effect, following him wherever and whenever possible.
