This is the High Grade 1/144 Hyaku-Shiki (Revive). :) I have to say, this is a really nice looking mobile suit. :) I started watching Mobile Suit Gundam Z not too long ago, and have thus been trying to add more kits from the series to my collection. And there was no way I could pass up this beauty of a Gunpla. ^u^ The gold finish looks really nice under light, and the kit itself has fantastic articulation. Very little paint or panel lining is needed on this kit, with most of the panel lining being on the red tube pieces. Really though, this is just a really well done kit, and while I wish they could have made this kit coated like the original version, I still find it to be a great representation of the Hyaku-Shiki as it appears in the anime, and gladly recommend the kit to any Gundam fan. :)
In all honesty, I’ve ended up liking this kit so much that its actually made me want to invest in the 2.0 Master Grade version. :)

I don’t know what metal flake is, but the gold colored pieces on this kit are molded in the color you see in the picture. I think they call it gold gloss injection, but I’m not sure. I just know that the gold pieces are molded in that color. The only exception is the gold cable on the gun. The gun is molded entirely out of dark grey plastic, and I painted parts of the gun to get it looking how it does on the box. :)
If you look at a car with a metallic paint, it has those little specks in it that gives it a different sheen. In most plastic kits where I have seen the effect attempted, the plastic ends up looking swirled where the flakes have concentrated. The picture here looks like the gold was painted on, which if that is bare plastic, impresses the heck out of me! =^^=
