Many people ask what Enigma does for a living. While it is true that he takes on cases and mysteries as he explores the various planes of the multiverse, he is an academic at heart. Whenever he completes an adventure, he returns home to the academy.

There, he writes papers about his travels, and conducts experiments inspired by the places and things he's seen on the road. But on top on that, he teaches as a professor. One of the best professors in the academy, people folk to sign ups for his courses when he offers them, but that's only when he's not "on sabbatical".

Here, you see him conducting a lecture on "The Fundamentals of the Mind". Who better to teach people about how the mind works then someone who frequently makes use of his ability to influence them?
