Grand Inquisitor Longarm Prime has been at the side of the Magnuslord for decades now, assuming the role of the deposed Highbrow Prime (Who, the rumor goes, Longarm assassinated to take his place).
Longarm Prime is the head of the Autobot Intel division, overseeing all intelligence efforts towards the wayward Decepticons. Longarm Prime has been instrumental in several key Autobot victories, proving himself to the Magnuslord numerous times. This has made him a target of Nemesis Prime's ire, as the Autobot commander resents the idea of a relatively new upstart gaining more favor with the Magnuslord than he.
This, as anyone who knows TFA knows, is a ruse. Longarm Prime is actually the converting spy Shockwave. Shockwave has, in fact, given over Decepticon secrets to the Autobots, but at Megatrons behest. Megatron had known that "Longarm" would not be accepted so widely into the Autobot court if he did not produce significant results. Thus any Decepticon casualties were usually sparkless drones, created for this purpose by Starscream.
Shockwave, despite knowing that his "secrets" have led to very few actual casualties to the Decepticons, still feels despondent towards the idea of using his Commanders secrets in such a fashion.
This as well as the fact that Longarm Prime actually holds the title of "Grand Inquisitor". This, of course, means having to hand the torture and information extraction from any Decepticon agents captured on the field. He does his best to try to make any procedure painless, but considering that there are optics and audio receptors on him at all times, he often does not have this luxury, having to maintain the Longarm persona as convincingly as possible. The Autobot court is a place fraught with paranoia and backstabbery, and if he displays even a moments weakness, someone could capitalize on it, and all of his efforts will have been for naught.
Megatron worries that his extended undercover may affect Shockwave's psyche, and as soon as he can be extracted, Megatron plans on giving him a extended leave, unless he can recover mentally.
That's right, SG Megs is a nice guy.
(notes about ongoing RP involving Shattered Glass)
Shockwave has had a ray of sunshine lately, however, though this ray is tainted with worry as well. A fem that he had become involved with was captured recently, and Shockwave was able to use his position to bring her under his direct "interrogation". This is the only way that Shockwave could try to keep her safe, especially since she HAD been under the "care" of the Autobot twins, Jetfire and Jetstorm.
Shockwave has been trying to allocate all Decepticon prisoners to under his direct supervision, citing the reasoning to the Magnuslord that "He was the only one who could truly keep the Decepticon mongrels on a proper leash", also mentioning Jetfire and Jetstorm's constant dereliction of duty, which "Longarm" has captured on holo-vid numerous times.
Sidenote: It was also Shockwave who approached Sentinel Prime about joining the Decepticons, and abandoning the Autobots.
