My rescue ferret, the sweetest little heart thief there ever was, has been getting very sick lately, and on Tuesday afternoon, we had to have her put to sleep. She was suffering from the end stages of some sort of ferret diabetes like disease that they sometimes get when they get older, and was in incredible pain, even so bad that she was screaming in agony and having seizures. I couldn't take it anymore, so we found a vet to do what needed to be done. I will miss her terribly, as she was the first ferret I've ever personally had the loving pleasure to call my own. Will I get another? Maybe, in time. The other 5 in our group also miss her terribly, as they are truly a social bunch of little heart theives.
