But...But... It looks so much better with the background in it! I admit I think you could have made the moon beam a little more bright, but aside from that, I had absolutely no complaints about the pic.

Well see thats exactly the thing.
I couldn't get the the background the way I wanted, due to meh background skills, and not enough skill in photoshop to do all the stuff I wanted to do (like bright moonlight shining through the window on them, etc)

Well, I'm told the only way to get better at something is to work on it and though it may not start immediately, you will improve.

Well, the only time I really ever practice is using the comic-style. You'll have seen that in the Shadow suit.

oh yes. so why not work on this style? that way you'll get just as good as you are in the comics.

Because I'm lazy and like to get just get to the point of the TF ~.~
A lot of the time I never had backgrounds, until I figured it made the pic more.... epic-ish.

But it does. I've seen all sorts of epic pics with awesome backgrounds. you just need to work on it. I know how you feel. I shudder to work on stuff too, but it must be done.

Hmm...I rather like your choice to submit both versions. It seems good this way, but also with the BG too.
