Oh wow. Now I'm curious - how did you hear about it? I take it that the friends you mentioned were locals? Detroit's a bit of a drive! Then again...I'm thinking about heading out there from the Pittsburgh area for FCN next year...so, yeah. Hehehe.
Mintz Buck came to WPAFW this year from Detriot, as well. We convinced him to head down here for the weekend as an alternative to MFF. Hehe. I think he'll be back next year - for a "Local barbeque", its a heck of a lot of fun. *^^*~

Last year two of our friends (Las and Swift) mentioned it to us at some point, so we decided to check it out. We were there with a bunch of Ohio friends last year. It's definitely an event that I plan on returning to every year from now on. For me, these sort of events are all about the social interaction, and I met several fun people this year :)
