Me experimenting with adding colors to my traditional sketches.
I'm not sure if I like it enough to offer it as a commission option yet. I do my TF sequences traditionally cuz it's way easier for me to keep track of scale on one big piece of paper than it is on my small by comparison tablet screen zooming in and out.

Zack is a whale boy I scooped out of the bargain bin a little while ago :3 I'm still tweaking his design, too. The original had more stripes on his chest / collar bone that I eliminated. I prefer more natural / simple markings. He originally only had the dark color on the ends of his hands and dorsal fin, but I'm messing with that because it didn't make sense to me to have black tips on some extremities, but not everywhere else.
I can't decide if his Species is a random beaked whale or a prehistoric whale.
