What is the meaning behind this piece, forgive my ignorance but considering how many facets of discussion in relation to the fandom I'm not quite sure which this is highlighting n..n

Every symbol could have many meanings behind it. I'm not very keen to spill the beans right away ;)

To me it looked like the large beast had something resembling a human under its claw, wondering if that was a reference to the average furry and their dislike to "normal" social groups, for either rejecting them or just for despising them in some cases.

Not sure what to make of the large thing going in/out its mouth though =)

Saw the clouds and the two large ominous sources of light and was wondering about a hidden meaning of the fandom being "stuck in the middle" with an insecure identity, being constantly watched and scrutinized by society. The deep purple from blue representing the furry spirit of striding onwards and ignoring the trolls so to speak, as their insults and oppression are blurred into a softer and less painful hue.

Most of your statements doesn't match my idea, though ;> Your attitude to furry seems to be quite different from mine.

Its always interesting how art and interpretation of such often reveals extremely well how we as humans develop and how we as individuals are shaped through the many events that affect us during our lives n..n

I feel my view may be quite stark, bleak and negative although I feel the vibrant contrast of colours and the portrayal of what seems to be bleeding gold [or lava] from the creatures eye I think instantly signified that the picture doesn't have much positive potential. But in that I mean how it may be viewed, because of this it makes it a very fascinating image to look at... In fact I don't know why I haven't faved it yet *amends*
