(This was from 2006...I forgot to submit it to FA)
Glen Gould was one eerie guy, but astonishing at playing the piano. His life revolved around purity of music, playing with a strange postmodern twist. I had just watched the film, "Thirty-two Short Films About Glen Gould"...and the film itself was pretty creepy. One short film, entitled "Gould Meets McLaren (Animation By Norman McLaren)," featured an array of multiplying and dividing spheres floating through a maze of clouds, set to Fugue #14 from "The Well-Tempered Clavier." Norman McLaren had made three short animations in 1969 called "Spheres," which was supposed to be set to "The Well-Tempered Listener," a program designed by Glen Gould. Well, that short film tripped my mind, so, I decided to try my hand at recreating it with my own twist.
