Not sure if you already do this and i've missed it, but you should totally stream your work on something like picarto. I'm sure people would love to watch!

I do stream, and when I do I love it provided the internet's good - ut I just can't really deal with answering the same three questions over and over and over when each new person comes in >.<
"How're you?"
"What're you drawing?"
"What character is this?"

I know it's selfish but like.. I'm trying to work, and having to take time to answer chat is massively demotivating to me, and when it's to answer the same three questions I just get a bit pissed off ^^;

I tried to have it in my stream info that I'm not big into chatting and I likely won't reply to chat a lot when I'm heavily engrossed, but then that just made the watch count go down until everyone leaves after maybe fifteen minutes.


People only really enjoy streams when they get to talk to the artist a lot, and build some kind of connection or friendship or whatever, but I just.. Really need to focus on work >.<


It's like working in a book shop and these guys from college who you don't really know but vaguely recognise come in and try and talk to you and be friendly whilst you're working. You appreciate it, but you're trying to work, and do your job, so in the need you just get annoyed, and then they leave thinking you're an asshole because you didn't have time for them... Because you were working.. It's sort of a catch 22 for me at least >.<


Streaming sort of only works for me when it's specifically "In Stream Commissions"

Otherwise I just can't, and it's a bad experience for all.
People get on my nerves and I can't do my job as well as I want.
People leave after fifteen minutes thus making me feel like I'm not worth watching stream.
People leave thinking I'm an asshole because I'm not super chatty.

If you can think of anything, a way round that issue would be immensely helpful >.<

Ah, i understand. A couple other artist i know don't usually stream for the same reason.
As for a way around it, i have no answers as of yet. Maybe one day there will be a solution.
Anywho, thank you for the rather descriptive answer and keep up the good work.
