Callbacks to existing design motifs are not only satisfying to the eyes but also helpful in unifying the composition. The carved curves are useful in guiding my focus down the rest of her body. I would like to see the curves of her hip plates flow in harmony with her shoulders pauldrons as they share the same plane. But that desire also forced me to noticed the hip plates lacked the established motif of an embedded blue gem.

Modeling has always been difficult to wrap my brain around, and so I abandoned it, but the fruit of your labor is inspiring. I'm amazed by what you're able to accomplish!

Polishing up the hip plates now and thinking about maybe redesigning the top. It feels a bit too featureless next to the rest of the set.
Granted what attempts I have made to embellish it has come off as a bit too distracting.
