Personally, I think the only odd thing is that you and the walrus contrast rather sharply... plus the bright purple makes it look less natural as well, but I mean, it's a cartoon, so it doesn't have to be natural-looking at all, now does it?
I personally like it, and the little protective/groping thing kinda gives it a romantic feel. <3
