Another beasty for my AU. A Common Class, the Elenodile is as wide and tall as a large wild boar. Being a wetland and swamp dweling creature makes them behave like hippos spending a great deal in the water during the day though at night they wander the surrounding dense woods. Their front feet have large solid claws on all three toes and their tails hold enough power to fracture and even break bones, sending any predator flying meters into the air. Their trunks are as strong as a normal elephant despite their smaller stature and those trunks and horns make them a fearsome foe to face head on. As an intimidation tactic the elenodile will flare it's ears displaying all the "extra eyes" that pattern the edges. Normally these beasts mind their own business unless they feel threatened or you have a very aromatic treat on you.
