I digitally enhanced the color, I think it looks better, I never useually dick with the pictures too much out of the camera, this just seemed like a good enough pose to try to get better then natural color into the shot.
It looks a bit better I think, but let me know what YOU think.

haha yeah, you guys are lucky with your beautiful scenery. Even when I wasnt in LA I've always lived in the desert, yeah so... dirt sand and Joshuah Trees, then mass amounts of high-rises and houses.
The colors are just so damn beautiful, those trees. If I ever saw that in person I really would cry because of the beauty -=)

dude, that's not even the peak of the color they still had alot of green, the trees tend to get all bright fruity pebbles like all colors, you should totally come up this way durring the fall, like this time next year, this week coming up is the peak color time of the year, i'l be trying to get out and take as many shots of the fall foliage as i can this year, seeing as I can travel around more.
its more true to the actual color that was there, the trees and her shirt were that vivid, so I'm wondering if my cameras color pick up is off or not.
However I'm noticing some weird shades of black and some what mosaic textures in the water, I'm not sure if that's from tweaking it or if that's just my tiny laptop display playing with me. I can never tell what it's going to look like on other people's monitors, as mine is set up by NTSC color bar standards and the contrast ratio on everyone's monitor is different so there is no way to tell for me if it is really good looking or not, I have to go by what other people say, so thank you for your input it helps a great deal.

Btw, I saw you mentioned that it wasn't sunny in the previous one: that's the best weather to shoot in! :) Overcast skies provide a natural diffusion of the sunlight giving a nice soft light on your subject. Those are the conditions we love the most in film and photography. :)
Yeah, I can see how even lighting is a good thing but I was looking forward to a sunny day, to bring out the trees and so on more.
I've never dealt with shooting on overcast days much in my videography schooling, it was usually studio work, witch is okay but I long for natural settings.

Ah, well still better to have A telephoto than NO telephoto XD. As long as it's made by Canon, can't be too bad. I know there's a Nikon that has about the same range (70-300) and it's a cheap lens, but it does the job. I don't personally have it, but I might have to get one if I want to do some telephoto photography heheh. I would only use it outside because it needs a crap ton of light to be decent.
I try to get the bokeh effect when ever I can cuse I love it lol.
This shot was actually pretty fake looking to me because the color was so intense and I did not like it and was not going to post it at first.
But after some time I decided to throw it up here n see if anyone liked it, and turns out they do!
No reflectors back then, and some blues on the white from my crappy 24$ lens but that's about all that I can see that I did really wrong.
Though having worked at then owning a studio for several years, makes me wish I could go back and repose her a bit.
